Alpha Shaper - Aibio

2017 - 2020

When I was in charge of import and export, I also worked as the brand project manager of a bio-health company named Aibio, which is a cooperative project. The project starts from scratch, decided product direction, package design, production, exporting to foreign countries, launch on market and promotion.

Project Intro.

Aibio is an Australian start-up company, originally headquartered in Melbourne, and entrusted me to design a brand-new health product to enter the Chinese market according to their existing capacity and production situation. After learning about their production technology, I did in-depth market research, gave some product direction references, and created a brand-new health brand for them.

Challenge

My client only has a raw idea of making a health product to enter the overseas market, but they have no idea what to do, how to do it and what the market situation is like. At the beginning of the project, the team support was insufficient, and I had to take charge of all the roles. This was the first time that I was involved in medicine, biotechnology and the food industry, which was a cross-disciplinary professional project.

My point of view

Most of the projects I have been involved in in the past are for start-ups. Working under the conditions of limited funds, limited staff and unclear project objectives, communication and decision-making are very important elements to get successful.

AIBIO's project spanned medical treatment, health, food, biotechnology, product design, production, import/export and marketing. The whole project lasted for 4 years. From the team of two people to the team of the last dozen people, we made progress in learning.

Finally, the product was successfully unveiled at the 2020 Shanghai World Import and Export Expo. The Australian Consul in Shanghai visited our booth.
